Our socio-demographic system uses postcodes to build a demographic profile of the people living in the relevant areas.
For Customer Analysis, these postcodes will be from existing customers and in the case of Market Sector Analysis, from geographic areas.
The system basically matches each postcode with the demographic type of the majority of the people who live in the postcode area (usually a street or part of a street). Having gathered this information we collate it and work out the number and percentage of each demographic type that is represented in the data.
Using this information, we produce a report similar to that shown which summarises the findings both in terms of the specific demographic types as well as the demographic categories to which they relate.
